Downtown Main Street and Lodging
To warm your holiday spirit, the town of Breckenridge is beautifully decorated. You can also find sitting on your lodge sofa, watching the snow fall, can be quite cozy too. Or maybe you will want to wander outside to make a snowman. Whatever you chose to fulfill your holiday season, you will find comfort in the many great lodges and places to stay. You may want to consider one of the condos or townhouses with underground heated garages or even your own garage, so you don’t have to shovel snow off your vehicle. Many of them have washer and dryers to keep your clothes clean and dry for the wintery conditions. With so many choices, you’ll be sure to find one that you will love. My personal favorite are the townhomes at Mountain Thunder Lodge. It’s conveniently located near town and the gondola. Its set in a rustic mountain setting, are beautifully decorated, extremely cozy, have full kitchens, and can fit families needing 1-3 bedrooms. You feel like you have your very own home in the most incredible setting.

Exploration
Ready to get outside of Breckenridge. The alpine village of Vail, known as one of America’s wealthiest small towns, is nearby and worth a visit. It’s only 36 miles away, but remember in winter, that can mean an hour drive. It too has world renowned skiing, many shops, restaurants, luxurious accommodations, and breathtaking mountain views.
